After the late night in Tromsø, we decided to sleep a little later and missed the early morning stop in
Ørnes but got up early enough to watch the globe when we sail across the polar circle a second time.

Just after noon we arrive in Sandnessjøen, a small of which we managed to see almost everything during our half hour stop. Later we sail past the beautiful snow covered mountain range, The Seven Sisters.

Later in Brønnøysund we visit this little church before saling past the Torghatten mountain.
Everywhere in Norway we noticed youngsters wearing these red or sometimes blue, overalls. When asking the receptionist at our hotel in Bergen about this, she replied 'It is really the most stupid tradition ever!!'
Russefeiring (russ celebration) is a celebration by students in their final high school semester, usually from around 20 April to 17 May. They celebrate by wearing these overalls, drink and sometimes buy buses, paint them in the same colours as the overalls and drive around and party in them the whole month.

In the clear weather we later get a good look at Torghatten mountain, a granite moutain on Torget island with a huge hole in the center.
According to legend, the hole was made by the troll Hestmannen while he was chasing the beautiful girl Lekamøya. As the troll realized he would not get the girl, he released an arrow to kill her, but the troll-king of Somna threw his hat into the arrow's path to save her. The hat turned into the mountain with a hole in the middle. (the legend as described by Wikipedia)
